Fishing in France Rules!
Here at Fishing in France we believe you should enjoy your fishing, so we do not have many rules. The rules we do have are to protect you the angler, the fishery and most importantly the FISH! Please read the rules below before requesting a brochure as the rules applied to both fisheries and ALL anglers.
Optional featured content area.
- No Leadcore.
- Barbed Hooks Only.
- Rig tubing to be used at all times, this reduces risk of line damage to fish. Rig tubing must be at least 28" to ensure no scale and fin damage occurs when playing fish.
- Sacking of fish is prohibited unless prior consent from bailiff.
- A maximum of three rods per angler.
- No nuts of any description.
- Only particles prepared and supplied by Fishing in France may be used on any of our waters, this includes pellets and all groundbaits.
- No braided main lines, mono-filament only.
- No fine braided hook links may be used, this includes Kryston Merlin style braids, coated hook link materials such as Mantis or Snakebite are ok.
- No radio controlled bait boats.
- No fixed rigs of any kind.
- Rods must attended to at all times.
- Unhooking mats are provided and must be used for all fish.
- The fish must be treated with the up most care and respect at all times - regardless of species.
- No artificial baits ie plastic sweet corns etc.
- No shelf life Boilies as these seldom are eaten by our fish and just go rotten on the lake bed. Frozen baits only.
- No trout pellets to be used due to the high oil content, C7 pellets may be used and can be purchased on site at a very reduced rate. This is a carp conditioning pellet and promotes fish health unlike trout pellet which can do the reverse if used to excess.
- These rules are not intended to restrict any anglers fishing but to ensure all parties have equal opportunity to catch consistently and to ensure fish growth and condition. All particles, method mixes are available at the venue, supplied at below UK tackle shop prices.

Have a good look round our web site taking time out to check the catch logs as we hide nothing at Fishing in France but remember varying results sometimes are based on varying anglers!, we are very proud of Etang le Rocher as it continues to produce huge carp and give anglers that special feeling knowing they have the great opportunity in smashing their personal bests at the best all in carp fishing holiday France has to offer.
